We’re inviting the local community to come and take a look at what’s been happening at Northshore.
Since last summer, a lot has been quietly evolving around the site – and we’d love to show you where things are heading.
On Saturday 24th May from 10am to 4pm, we’re hosting a relaxed, drop-in Open Day. No schedules. No pressure. Just a good excuse to explore the space, enjoy the harbour, and meet the teams behind it all.
What to Expect on the Day
This isn’t a big party or a hard sell. It’s a welcoming, informal day with a few things going on — all designed to give you a feel for what Northshore is becoming.
Electric Boat Rides
Take a free spin in one of our fully electric RAND dayboats – quiet, smooth, and seriously enjoyable. These boats are part of the Northshore Boat Club fleet, but on the day they’ll be open to all. Whether you’re curious about the club or just want to try electric boating, hop aboard.
Lift & Launch In action
See how our valet-style service moves boats from dry land to deep water. We’ll be lifting from 10am through to 1pm, just ask if you’d like to see how it works.
Quarterdeck Café & Live Music
The Quarterdeck team will have the pizza oven fired up, sharer platters on the menu, and something sweet for after – including a selection of their regular bakes from local favourite Knead Bakery. From 1–3pm, Graham Fargher will be playing laid-back acoustic guitar by the water – the perfect backdrop to a good coffee or a bite to eat.
Arksen Adventure Display
Come and see what one of our on-site neighbours has been working on. Arksen, fresh from co-producing the new Ocean documentary with David Attenborough, will have a selection of their latest off-grid gear. The film – which premiered just days ago – explores the challenges facing our oceans and the urgent need for action. It’s a powerful project, and one that reflects Arksen’s deep commitment to sustainability and ocean health.
On the day, you’ll find a line-up of their expedition-ready vehicles and vessels, including electric Land Rovers, explorer boats, and adventure equipment – all designed for life beyond the beaten path.
Among them, you’ll see the totally epic Arksen U1700, the ultimate overlander built on the Mercedes Unimog platform.
Northshore Boat Club
If you’ve been wondering what it’s like to be a member, we’ll be on hand to chat through how it all works, show you the fleet, and answer any questions you might have about Northshore Boat Club.
Ritual Sauna on the Water
The pop-up sauna will be open by the waterfront. If you’ve been curious, now’s the time to have a look — or book a session and try it for yourself. Booking ahead is recommended.
Chichester Boat Club
Our neighbours from Chichester Boat Club will also be here – it’s a great chance to say hello and hear more about what they offer.
A Harbour Day, Done Properly
Whether you’re a boat owner, a local, or just someone who enjoys being by the water – you’re very welcome.
Pop in any time between 10am and 4pm. Have a wander, chat to the team, take a boat ride or just enjoy the view with a coffee.
