If you love being out on the water but don’t love scrubbing hulls or dealing with antifoul every season, Lift & Launch is the simplest answer. We lift your boat out after use and store it ashore, then launch it again when you’re ready — so you spend more time boating and less time maintaining.
At Northshore Boatyard in Itchenor, this works much like dry rack / dry stack storage: your boat lives out of the water, stays cleaner, and is easier to look after – with the bonus of Chichester Harbour right on your doorstep.
how does lift and launch work?
Our Lift and Launch service is designed to make boating easier. Your boat is lifted out of the water and stored ashore at Northshore, with indoor and outdoor storage options available for boats up to 42ft (12.8m) and 10 tonnes.
When you’re ready to head out, we launch your boat and have it waiting on our deep-water pontoon. After your time on the water, we recover it, rinse it down, and return it to storage.
Keeping your boat ashore between trips reduces exposure to fouling, corrosion and weather, which can help lower maintenance over time.
It’s ideal for Chichester Harbour boaters who want a simpler way to store and enjoy their boat.
KEEP YOUR MOORING, PROTECT YOUR BOAT
For boat owners with a swinging mooring in Chichester Harbour, our Mooring Valet Service offers the best of both worlds – secure shoreside storage, without giving up the mooring you value.
We’ll launch and deliver your boat to your mooring, ready for you to step aboard. When you’re done, we recover, rinse, and return it to storage – keeping it safe, clean, and well-maintained between uses.
With up to six return launches per year, it’s a simple way to protect your boat, reduce maintenance costs, and preserve its condition for the long term.
