Boat Club Trafalgar

Boat Club Trafalgar Is Now Northshore Boat Club

Boat Club Trafalgar is now part of Northshore Boat Club in Itchenor.

If you were looking for Boat Club Trafalgar, you’re in the right place.

Boat Club Trafalgar is no longer operating from Trafalgar Wharf and has now come together with Northshore Boat Club, with everything now based at Northshore in Itchenor.

So while the home and structure have changed, the core idea remains the same – a simpler, more flexible way to enjoy boating, with the same great team behind it.

What’s Changed at Boat Club Trafalgar?

Boat Club Trafalgar is no longer operating from Trafalgar Wharf.

Instead, the club has now come together with Northshore Boat Club, bringing membership, fleet and future investment into one club based at Northshore in Itchenor.

In simple terms, this is not the end of the club. It is the next chapter – now brought together in one place in Chichester Harbour.

Why Bring the Clubs Together?

Bringing the clubs together creates one clear home for the club and a stronger foundation for the future.

At Northshore, the club is based somewhere we can properly shape and invest in over the long term – not just in the fleet, but in the wider member experience too. That includes the facilities, the site itself, and the kind of events and atmosphere we want the club to grow around.

It gives us more control over how the club develops, more freedom in what we invest in next, and a clearer base for building the experience properly.

Put simply, it means the club is now based somewhere we can grow with intention, rather than working around the limitations of a site we no longer own.

ELECTRIC BOATS IN THE FLEET

Northshore Boat Club now includes electric boats in the fleet – including the RAND 18 and RAND 23 with Torqeedo electric power.

  • Quiet, smooth harbour boating
  • A genuinely distinctive part of the fleet
  • Zero fuel costs

our location

Northshore gives Boat Club Trafalgar more than a new postcode.

It gives us a home we can properly shape over time – not just around the boats, but around the full member experience too.

  • More control over the member experience
  • More freedom to invest in the site and facilities
  • More room to build events and club atmosphere
  • A base in Itchenor, Chichester Harbour

What Stays The Same?

At its heart, the appeal is still the same.

This is still about making boating easier to enjoy – more access, more flexibility, and more time on the water without the usual ownership baggage in the background.

And just as importantly, it is still being run by the same great team who know the club, know the members and know what makes it work.

What’s New?

There is plenty to look forward to.

Bringing the clubs together at Northshore means members now benefit from a club shaped around Chichester Harbour, with a growing fleet and continued investment in what comes next.

That includes electric boats as part of the fleet, new investment in RIBs, and a boating experience built around harbour boating that feels easy, enjoyable and well suited to regular use.

It also means the club can keep evolving beyond the boats themselves – with the wider site, facilities and events all playing a part in the experience we’re building around it.
